For those of you who have been fans of Nokia and never looked back, you may have noticed a little application called “Switch” under the Tools folder. This has been an offering that came with some of the latter phones in ‘08. The Switch app lets you synchronize data between two Nokia phones via Bluetooth or data. For instance, if you have a new Nokia phone (an N86 pictured here), you can transfer all your data from your previous Nokia phone (the Nokia E71) simply by running Switch. It will ask you what type of data do you need transferred, allowing you to receive, transfer or sync both phones. You can synchronize your contacts, SMS and their respective folders, Active Notes, Notes, MMS, Bookmarks, Landmarks, photos and video — everything! Post from: Cellphone9 |
